New Narrative Requirements Effective April 01, 2025
Narratives will only be required when Protective Services members are involved in an arrest, use of force, hands on applications, following critical incidents, death or serious injury process, property damage, MHA transfers, fines, and trespass orders.
IMPORTANT: If you feel a scenario requires a narrative, you have the duty to discuss with your TL or Manager and feel free to err on the side of caution and document the scenario.
Officer notebooks and notes in officer notebooks are still required and can be used as future references for historical Protective Services incidents. No change in this practice.
